Copia Brings Industrial Backup and Recovery to Large, Multi-Vendor Operations With Support for 160+ Integrations

The milestone gives food and beverage manufacturers, materials handling operations, and critical infrastructure providers one platform to back up, track, and restore the code running devices, from robots and controllers to HMIs, vision systems, and network infrastructure.

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2026 — Copia Automation, the OT backup and recovery platform for industrial operations, today announced that it now supports more than 160 integrations across the automation vendors, software versions, and device types that run today's plants, utilities, and critical infrastructure. The milestone extends automated backup, recovery, and version control across the full range of industrial assets, from robots and controllers to HMI and SCADA systems, vision systems, and network switches, giving operators a single system of record for the code running operations.

Industrial operations aren't built all at once. They're built over decades, one line, one upgrade, and one acquisition at a time. A water utility may run SCADA systems, controllers, and network switches installed in different eras, while a data center manages PLCs and HMIs from a dozen vendors across its facilities. Every system has different software and versions, and usually a different backup habit: a manual export before a firmware update, a project file on an engineer's laptop, a USB drive in a control cabinet.

When a cyber incident, bad edit, or hardware failure takes a device down, recovery depends on finding the right file, at the right version, while every minute of downtime adds up.

Copia was built for that reality. Rather than asking brownfield operators to standardize their equipment before they can protect it, Copia works with what's already running, supporting the software versions each site uses, from the latest releases of major vendors like Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider Electric and Omron to legacy systems still in service.

With Copia, every site has a verified, known-good version of its code ready to restore, across supported devices. Copia DeviceLink™ keeps those backups current automatically, so recovery never depends on someone remembering to run one. Teams can see who changed what and when, compare versions, and roll back with confidence. Unauthorized or accidental changes are flagged at the device level for engineering and security teams to review. For regulated environments, that change history doubles as an audit-ready record of every edit and restore, supporting evidence requirements under standards like NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and NIS2. The result is one consistent backup and recovery standard across the entire operation.

"Large industrial operators don't get to start from scratch. They run decades of devices from many vendors, and all of them need to be recoverable," said Adam Gluck, founder and CEO of Copia Automation. "One of Copia's biggest strategic goals has been supporting large-scale brownfield enterprise environments, and with more than 160 integrations, we believe we can now support almost any industrial environment in operation today. Recovery can't depend on which vendor's device failed or how old it is."

Copia supports devices from Omron, FANUC, Inductive Automation, Cisco, Cognex, and many more, with new vendors, software versions, and device types added based on what customers run in the field.
